What is a Coach?

Coaching is not therapy. The dictionary definition of a therapist is someone who ‘treats psychological problems’. As a coach I start from the premise that, ‘there’s nothing wrong with my client, he/she has a good life and wants to make it even better’.

The focus is a positive one. I will acknowledge your past but we will be concentrating on the present and your future. Together we will help you build a future that inspires you to get out of bed in the morning and allows you to revisit the child like feeling of excitement. I’ll help you to set and work towards your goals, support you when things don’t quite go to plan and shake your hand when they do.

If you are reading this page, you are already part way to achieving your goals. You have realised what you want but perhaps aren’t quite sure how you are going to get there.
Perhaps the support that you get elsewhere is too subjective and you’re looking for a coach who you can talk to, work with and one who will give you objectivity rather than a biased opinion.

There could me many reasons that you are seeking a coaching relationship.

If you would like the opportunity to explore the answers to your many questions with a qualified professional and in an absolutely confidential manner then either send me an email, give me a call or make a booking for your free twenty minute consultation. At the end of this consultation we will decide whether or not Coaching is suitable for you and whether or not I am suitable to be your Coach.

Coaching is not expensive if you look at it as an investment in creating a better life for yourself. You invest time and money into your home, your family, your car - Why wouldn’t you invest some money in creating development and positive change for yourself, your children or your career? You will benefit and so will everyone around you!
